Bright Tights, Big City

blazer; target. dress; gap. necklace; F21.

tights; old navy. wedges; aldo.

Yesterday was just one of those days; this whole week has been filled with those kinds of days.  So thank goodness it is finally Friday.  These magenta tights definitely were a game changer and I can’t wait to wear them again.  I’m usually pretty tame when it comes to bright colors (I’ve previously worn this outfit with black tights, and yes my entire closet is filled with black sweaters and dresses).  After seeing Kiley’s {A Sequin Dress at Breakfast} guest post over at Raving Fashionista, I was truly inspired to  invest in a few pairs of  bright tights {magenta and purple} for these dreary winter days.  Even one of my co-worker’s mentioned yesterday afternoon, “I would have remembered seeing you earlier today with those tights!”  Made my day.

  1. Jamie

LOVE this look, Sam! Tres chic. :)

  2. Love this look! Colored tight are a great addition to an all-black outfit. I recently got a maroon pair and a hunter green pair and have had a lot of fun with them. Also love that necklace, it looks like J.Crew! Gotta love when you can get stuff like at a F21 price!

  3. I want to get some colorful tights. I wear a lot of muted and dark colors too, and I think the bright tights would really add to my wardrobe. I’m thinking I might get some from We <3 Colors. You look so cute! And I love the addition of the necklace! Following you on twitter!

  4. Aww you look so cute in your magenta tights!
