On Monday, I introduced you to The Paper Doll Project. The Stylish Housewife decided to pair up my mustard colored cardigan with a pop of color. We both agreed that we love color yet are deathly afraid of it at the same time. She originally wanted to pair it with my Old Navy Black & White checkered dress and colorful tights, but as I was hoping for warmer weather today, I suggested a bright-colored dress instead of tights. Spring has officially arrived and this is a great way to kick off the new season!
Things I learned from the Paper Doll Project:
1. Take outfit photos any other place than my room – sunshine yellow is just not a flattering backdrop.
2. Iron. I attempted to take this photo the night before, but alas didn’t realize how wrinkled both the sweater and dress were stuffed in my closet. It’s very wrinkled and worth being on Sydney’s awkward list. Shame on me.
3. I really need some color. Not hitting up a warm destination this year for spring break really got in the way of becoming a bronzed beauty.
4. I love styling other people’s clothes. Especially when they turn out like this.
Here is how I styled the sweater during my 7×7:

Make sure to head over to The Stylish Housewife to see how I styled Jennifer’s Free People Trapeze Tank. We went back and forth deciding on the shirt to layer under the tank and the end outfit turned out amazing!
